Statement of Faith

We believe in one true and living God, who exists eternally in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.  (Deuteronomy 6:4, Matthew 28:19, 2 Corinthians 13:14)

Jesus Christ, the Son of God, suffered, was crucified, died, and was buried to reconcile humanity to the Father. We believe He rose from the dead, ascended into heaven, and will return to judge all on the last day.  (1 Corinthians 15:3-4, Romans 8:34, Acts 1:9-11, 2 Timothy 4:1)

Jesus Christ shed His blood for the forgiveness of sins and to break the power of sin in believers' lives.  (Ephesians 1:7, 1 John 1:7, Romans 6:14)

The Bible is the inspired Word of God.  (2 Timothy 3:16-17, Hebrews 4:12, Psalm 119:105)

We affirm the reality of a literal heaven and hell.  (Matthew 25:46, Revelation 20:14-15, John 14:2)

Justification comes by faith alone.  (Romans 3:28, Ephesians 2:8-9, Galatians 2:16)

Sanctification delivers us from the power and dominion of sin, leading to a life-long growth in grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ.  (1 Thessalonians 4:3-4, 2 Peter 3:18, Romans 6:22)

We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit, with speaking in other tongues as the initial evidence of this experience.  (Acts 2:4, Acts 10:44-46, Acts 19:6)

Healing is available through the redemptive work of Jesus Christ.  (Isaiah 53:5, Matthew 8:17, 1 Peter 2:24)

We anticipate the return of Jesus Christ and eagerly wait for His appearance.  (Titus 2:13, 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17, Revelation 22:12)

Every believer is called to dedicate their life to fulfilling the Great Commission.  (Matthew 28:19-20, Acts 1:8, 2 Corinthians 5:18-20)
